Haringey Assessment Ward Duty Dr Bacarese-Hamilton, CT3
Attended the ward to offer Simon physical, ECG and blood test. Simon was seen in the quiet
room; his girlfriend and mother were also present. I offered him physical, ECG and blood test
and explained the rationale and benefits however Simon was adamant that he did not want
any of them. He said he treats his body like a temple, does not use drugs or alcohol and he is
physically well. He will not be accepting any medication so does not need an ECG.
Explained he can approach staff members if he changes his mind.
Plan
- Day team to offer him physical, ECG and blood test again once he is more settled.
