I spoke to Simon on the phone a few days ago. He called to say that his solicitor has
talked to him about a psychiatric assessment re fitness to appear in court. Simon said he
has had numerous assessments, but I pointed out this one would be specific and current
regarding fitness to appear rather than some of the other assessments such as for section
or general mental health. He explained that he is currently preparing for a court hearing
but when this is completed, he would like some help to look at training/courses to support
his career ambitions. Simon said he will call in the next few weeks once the court hearing
is over and we can arrange to meet to talk about what support he would like. Although
Simon spoke quite quickly on a number of subjects, with a slight preoccupation of past
assessments and contact with the police, the content did not appear odd or delusional
