Nothing in section 155 of the Housing Act 1996 or section 27 of the police and Justice Act
2006 or section 43 of the Policing and Crime Act 2009 or section 4 of the Anti-Social
Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act —
1014, shall authorise the detention of the respondent after the expiry >of the period of 24
hours beginning at the time of their arrest. On calculating any period of 24 hours, no account
shall be taken of Christmas Day, Good Friday, or any Sunday.
