Subject: Complaint against police
Dear Ms Cordell/Mr Benjamin
I am DC Durward’s line manager. DC Durward is currently engaged on another matter
outside London but will be returning late this week/early next week. I note that you are due
an update on the matter being investigated. DC Durward is nearing completion of his
extensive report which has been made a priority in his workload. Once completed, this will
be forwarded for final decision by a senior officer. A copy of the report will be sent to you at
this stage. I am anticipating that this matter will shortly be concluded.
Yours sincerely,
