was trying to assemble a cupboard, but he called
me a liar and continued to shout and swear at us.
He threatened to kill us and bum down our
property and stated that we will not be safe no
matter where we are. The Defendant then forced
his way into our flat, but my wife managed to
push him out and double-locked the door. I called
the police and they came and advised us to report
the matter to the council, CAD No. 2098 of
03/01/2018. The officers refused to listen to the
audio recording of the incident and advised that
we should ask the council to rehouse us.
3. The recent abuse and threats to kill from
the Defendant have made it difficult for us to live
in our own home. My wife is afraid to stay in our
flat alone with our daughter or leave the flat alone
without me or my cousin accompanying her. The
Defendant’s Behaviour is also causing a lot of
distress and anxiety not only to me and my wife
but also to our three-year- old daughter.
